Hi to All,
Today I am stuck in Fargo, ND. The car I am on the road with blew a
trans! But I do have some good friends here in Fargo. Bruce Thom and the
Redhawks have been kind enough to let me hang out with them at the
baseball games. I will be on my way to Omaha this evening to pick up
Deanna. Then it is off to Kansas with Johnny Western and parts all over
the Midwest.
Cody and Logan spent six weeks with Deanna and I earlier this summer. We
had a great time. The boys got to stick their foot in the Great Salt
Lake, see Yellowstone, Custer's Last Stand and Mt. Rushmore. That was
all in one week!
Then it was home to Vegas after a quick stop to see their Grandmother in
Denver. Next we all went to Fargo for a Redhawks game. I sang the
National Anthem and Ride Cowboy Ride (THE SHORT VERSION) at the game.
Bruce Thom and his wife were great hosts while there. They took the boys
to a dairy and fishing. Logan caught a mess of fish, and Cody a 5 lb
Walleye! Deanna caught several and me......nothing! Thanks to Bruce Thom
for a great time.
Cody and Logan went back to Nashville July 18th and Deanna and I went to
Mexico fishing for Bill Fish. I didn't catch a damn thing but drove the
boat. Deanna, the real fisherman in the family after Wade, caught
several tuna. We had a good time with good friends.
Wade is doing well in Texas. He is a good man with a wonderful wit....he
makes Deanna and I laugh. He should be on stage!
And Marcus is working in Vegas and saving his money. He has some big
plans.
The rest of August Deanna and I will be all over the map. Hope we get to
see you on the road.
Now for answers to some of the questions.
Because Deanna and I are driving from Des Moines to Vegas I will not be
able to be in Phoenix on August 17th. Those are a great bunch of guys.
Sorry I can't be there.
Peter in Vienna.....thanks for the note. Deanna and I spent a week in
your fair city two years ago. I'm glad to know I have fans in Europe.
Hi Prego...hope you all are doing well. I heard that some of the people
have gone to a better place. Glad to know that you are still around.
Mike....are you still a musician? What's up?
I have picked up a lot of new fans because of "Me Myself and Irene."
Wyatt calls about once a month and has me do some lines from the movie
for his friends. There is more voice over work coming.
Deanna is working with the
Westerns Channel as we speak. There is more to come. Some really
exciting stuff.
