February 2002
Hi Everybody,
Welcome to 2002! Deanna and I have been busy on the road. Seems like
Christmas came and went, then we WENT! January was a blur. Lots of new
friends though.
All the kids seem to be doing fine. Wade is expanding his business in
Texas. Buying his own Well Rig. If you need a water well dug in East
Texas, give him a call. He is a good man and funny too!
Wyatt is in Tucson for his first Spring training with the White Sox. He
is excited about it all as he should be. We don't know where he will be
playing this year, but will let you know when we know. Marcus is trying to figure out what he wants to do with the rest of his
life! He'll get it together pretty quick.
Cody is just Cody. Doing fine in school and growing up way too fast.
Hasn't discovered girls yet, but that won't be long. He is doing a lot
of thinking right now.
Logan is really doing well. A's in school, playing piano and singing in
the choir. Right now he is the only one of our sons that might go into
the Entertainment field.
Deanna is wonderful! We are traveling on the road together, so you will
all get to see her this year. She is such a great lady and I couldn't
and wouldn't want to live my life without her. Sometimes I think people
want to see her much more than me!
From a business standpoint things are really moving! The new Album is
finally out. "Black and White" can be found through the Fan Club or the
Web site. Hope you like it. There is one song called "Leader of the
Band" I hope you really enjoy as much as I do.
I hope that some of you have seen "The Last of the Silver Screen Cowboy"
video on the Westerns Channel. And I am going to do more with them in
March. This time I will be on camera introducing some of the films. It
should start running in April or May. Also, I'm doing commercials for
The Boy Scouts of America. Just my voice, but you will know it's me, I
hope! Two regional airlines want me to do their spots too! There is a
new radio format out here in the West and I will be their voice also.
We have begun talks with symphony orchestras in Arizona and New Mexico
for concerts. That will be the next CD!
Hope you all are doing well. Thanks to Nadine, Terri and Susan for all
their help and support.
All the Best,
Rex |
